AN INTRODUCTION TO FUNGI IN GLENCOE Wednesday 6th September, 10am-4pm

An indoor introduction to the ecology, identification and folklore of fungi in the morning followed by a foray outdoors in the afternoon. Instruction by mycologist Liz Holden. £20 (lunch included)

BATIK Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th October, 10am-4pm

A Two day centred workshop with a day in Glencoe and a day at the Ariundle Centre in Strontian. A fantastic introduction to the art with instruction from Anne Dye. £30 for one day, £50 for two.

BASKET MAKING AND PLANT WEAVING Saturday 14th October, 10am-4pm

Learn contemporary and traditional methods of plant weaving and basket making with tutor and professional artist Georgia Crook. One day workshop. £40. 

INTRODUCTION TO GREEN WOODWORKING Saturday 21st-Sunday 22nd October, 10am-4pm

Green woodoworking is using wood that is unseasoned (green) and fresh, soft and easily worked, which becomes tough and hard once dry. From a round log. participants will cleave, chop, draw and turn a piece of wood into a finished item.
