One of the best car parks in the world!

I was at this car park in 2000 and it has left a lasting impression on me. So rugged yet so beautiful.
My Grandfather was a Campbell who came from the area and this is probably what makes it a bit more special.

The ride from tyndrum over rannoch mhor upto the carpark at the head of the glen, where the piper pipes and poses with you and then onto the glen, now pause park up look down the glen, wow.
Move on now into the glen can you feel the pull of the past? the stark splendour that permeates your soul as glencoe enfolds you in its awsome beauty this is a feeling like no other, frightening, loving, inspiring and a piece of your heart is left behind, to join with all those gone before. you leave glencoe but it stays with you.

Looking on various sites for a medium walk on the Glen .... did my best walk yesterday - " the cobbler " ... not the whole climb but near enough bout 800m ... We are fairly new walkers Ben Ledi included.. being diabled doesnt stop me making good attempts.. at least i can say I got so far up. To me no matter where you go in the highlands and Trossachs the views are spectacular .. God made scotland his master piece.

It does not matter how many times I visit somewhere in Scotland, i am always amazed at the beauty. Winter Spring Summer Autumn ..... always looks wonderful, and never looks the same as the last time. even if you went back the following day. Totally amazing, thats why I made Scotland my home. I see some amazing wild life to complete the views. What more in life can you ask for.
