Young Nats
Throughout the National Trust for Scotland, education is a key aim, and where better to start than when you’re a young? So are you interested in wildlife, nature, geology, the outdoors? Would you like your children to learn whilst playing some fun games with the rangers?
Our Young Naturalist’s Club (Young Nats for short!) is open to all children aged between 5 and 12 living in the Lochaber area. The club runs from 10.30am until 12pm and is normally held on the last Saturday of every month (occasionally we meet on other Saturdays and there is no meeting in December) at the Glencoe Visitor Centre and is free to join. For an idea of the topics we cover and for the date of the next meeting, download a programme.
Before joining take a quick peak at the notes for parents and 15 questions to ask, then simply down load a form, fill it in and come along! For more information contact us by email or telephone 0844 493 2222.
Many of the other ranger services throughout Scotland offer clubs too as does the Scottish Wildlife Trust.
