Low Level Walking
Starting at the An Torr walk, at the car park on the A82, 2 miles south of the visitor centre, you can walk to Signal rock or through the woods. There are 3 routes through the woods here that are easy to follow. There is a panel at the car park showing you the routes of the trails and colour-coded markers in the woodland to follow. Leaflets for the An Torr Woodland walks providing a map and other information are available from the Glencoe Visitor Centre for 50p. Around the visitor centre itself we now have some short walks. These walks are also a series of colour-coded trails, and link into the path that comes from Glencoe village. This walk passes the remains of a Victorian house at Inverigan which is built near the site of one of the houses where clansmen were killed on the night of the Massacre. You can then walk on down to the village and visit the café, museum and craft shops. Leaflets are also availble for this walk from the Visitor centre for 50p.
