Green PolicyThe Visitor Centre has developed it’s own green policy since opening. This policy is available for visitors to read when visiting the centre. Please click on the attached file below to read a version now. The centre has been built to be an environmentally friendly building, both in its design and construction, as well as the way it operates. The café uses cutlery and cups made from recycled products. It also recycles all it glass and aluminium cans. The coffee and tea grains are also used for composting which helps grow the native trees we grow and then sell in our shop. All the centres heating and hot water come from our own woodchip boiler and we have a water treatment plant, which cleans the water before returning it to the River Coe. For more details please read the Greenfile which is linked to this site. |
