Fort William Mountain Film Festival.

A celebration of mountain culture from
Friday 15 - Saturday 23 February 2008

During February, during the best winter walking and climbing conditions of the year, we will be entertained by a varied and very full programme of lectures, films, activities and exhibitions.

Glencoe Events

Mapping the Mountains Exhibition

Find out how the Highlands inspired science!

Mapping the Mountains will be on display from 10am to 4pm on every day of the festival, 15th to 23rd February.

Entry to the exhibition is free.


Glencoe Land Rover Tour

A three hour tour of the Glen, looking at wildlife, geology, history, landscape and more!

Sunday 17th Feb, Thursday 21st Feb and Saturday 23rd Feb.

10.15 am BOOKING ESSENTIAL. £15


Coire Gabhail (The Hidden Valley)

A Ranger-led guided walk to Scotlands most famous hanging valley. Meet at the NTS Visitor Centre. Packed lunch, walking footwear and waterproofs required. Parts of the route are steep and care is required. 10am – 3pm

20th February 10am- 3pm.  BOOKING ESSENTIAL.  £10.
