Buachaille Etive Beag

Buachalle Etive Beag lies between Buachaille Etive Mor and the Three Sisters.
One of the lesser known of the Glencoe Hills, it doesn’t have the Classic routeslike Buachaille Etive Mor, but it does have two Munros and is growing in popularity.

This is a great Ridge walk starting from the Carpark at Lairig Eilde on the A82 (NN188563), walk SW on the Right of Way route to Glen Etive. Just before you hit the Allt Lairig Eilde turn SE to the ridge then SW to the Summit of Stob Coire Rainneach(925m).
Continue SW along the broad ridge to Stob Dubh (958m). From here you’ll get great viws down Glen Etive to Ben Starav and Trilleachan with Loch Etive between.
From here descend SW to Dalness (NN169513).
It good alternative is to walk the reverse of this route, but it does mean a longer climb to start.
